Drilling reagent Polygum-K grades “B” and “C” is a complex reagent based on water-soluble salts of humic acids, high-molecular polymers and modifying additives.
The reagent is intended for processing clayey drilling fluids with increased mineralization in order to reduce the filtration rate, improve rheological properties and lubricity.
The optimal concentration of “Polygum-K” for treating drilling fluids is from 0.5 to 2% by weight as a diluent and from 2 to 5% by weight to reduce fluid loss.
The optimal concentration of the reagent for treating drilling fluids is 2-3% of the mass, depending on the indicators of mineralization and solid phase.

Advantages:
• effective in fresh and mineralized drilling fluids;
• does not lose properties up to a temperature of 170º C in a wide pH range;
• has high filtration properties;
• has lubricating properties, resistant to most pollutants;
• significantly cheaper than similar reagents of imported and domestic production;
Limitations:
• does not lose properties up to 25% of the total mineralization of the solution;
• the effectiveness of the reagent increases as the solid phase of the solution decreases;
• efficiency decreases when the solution is saturated with calcium and magnesium salts above 1000 mg/l.
Packaging:
The reagent is packaged in containers for bulk products, type MKR-1.0 C, polypropylene with a polyethylene liner. The bulk weight of one container is one ton.
Loading standards: railway gondola car – 67 tons.
